CHARITY DAY CELEBRATIONS @ KRUPALAYA
Our ward members spent last suday (november 13, 2011) as CHARITY SUNDAY in Krupalaya - old age home of our parish at SG Palaya.
We had organized a free medical check up programme for members of Krupalaya on 5th Saturday of the month. It was arranged by Ms. Mini Sunny. Congratulations and thanks. It is because of she, doctors of Hinduja Hospital offered their service to Krupalaya.
Our ward sponsored 2 days food to krupalaya (Nov.5 & 13) and 25 ward members actively involved in various jobs in Krupalaya on Nov. 13. We cleaned the rooms, kitchen, plates and served food to members of the house and also we met with necessary arrangements for the members to see the outside world of Krupalaya.
According to Rev. fr. Vicar, it was a wonderful service and a model to all other wards.
Special thanks to Our dear Jose Uncle. He coordinated and arranged the whole programme very well. Thanks to Mr. Sunny, and ward councilors (Mr. Reji and Mr. Shajan).
